For all BSNL broadband users it's a good news.

1. BSNL to improve the Minimum Speed from 512 Kbps to 2 Mbps charging the same rate. (Nearly 4 times).
2. BSNL to provide customer mail storage of 1GB which is humongous for the earlier of 50MB.

Also, Anupam Shrivastava BSNL CMD, said to media, “We have increased the internet speed four times. We have ensured 2 Mbps is available at last mile, which the customer premises is starting 1 October.”
